I orfered 2 DELL XPS 15 9550 but one has gone back and one now needs to be diverted elsewhere. As a small personal home laptop these things compete with Mac's. Small and light, superb high res screen. Try running it for business eg Sage Payroll or Sage Accounts perhaps over applications and you will hit issues. Part of the problem is the high res screen.
DELL XPS 15 9550 Battery Life doesn’t deviate from the looks of its predecessor, instead sticking with the same smooth carbon fibre and aluminium combo of its 13.3in equivalent - albeit stretched out a bit to support that dominating 15.6in display. It might not be as petite, or as commuter-friendly, as the XPS 13, but it's well worth a look-in for those added inches of screen real estate.
You can change the resolution and restart for the likes of Sage, not ideal. I tried an external monitor but a Dell 1980 size still doesn't do the job. As for the touchscreen I had to turn this off else touching by accident causes problems. Aside from business applications i find even on web browsing I'm having to slide across to see full screen. Total HD storage is a problem, I had to go for i7 to get 500Gb.

DELL XPS 15 9550 Skylake is no slouch: scoring a total of 127 in our rigorous 4K benchmarking tests, up from 111 this time last year. It’s clear that multitasking is much improved on this year’s model, too: made in part thanks to that generous 16GB of RAM. This’ll be significantly faster than Apple’s MacBook Pro equivalents.
And that’s the sticking point, and one where the DELL XPS 15 starts to fall a little flat; it’s a splendid performer, yes but one that’s out of reach from most payslips. If money is no object (lucky you), DELL XPS 15 Skylake remains the best Windows laptop ever made, but just get an DELL XPS 13 if you’re a little more strapped for cash. You may be losing out on an extra 2.3in of screen real estate, but it’ll soften the blow to your wallet.

The XPS 15 Reviews is a beautiful, powerful laptop that can handle nearly any task. It is sleek and relatively lightweight for its size, which is also another accomplishment given its brilliant 15.6-inch display: it is the most gorgeous display I have ever seen on a laptop, and that alone nearly is worth the price of admission.
Unfortunately, while it has less issues now than at launch, they are still numerous and they should be a major consideration if you’re ordering online or overseas and you’ll have to pay to return or exchange it.
